NEAL SHAH FOR MAYOR
Protecting What Makes Superior Special
Planning for What's Next

For a long time, I didn't think I was going to run for mayor.
Eight years on Town Council feels like a substantial commitment, and I assumed this chapter of public service was coming to an end, especially with both kids now graduates of BVSD. But as I thought more about where Superior is headed, I kept coming back to the same conclusion: I don't believe what I have to contribute to this community is exhausted.
Superior is entering a different chapter. We're moving beyond years defined by major development / growth, litigation, the pandemic, and the Marshall Fire. The decisions ahead aren't emergency decisions, but they'll be long-term decisions about what kind of community we want Superior to become.
Those decisions will shape our town for decades. I'm running because I believe this is an opportunity that requires thoughtful judgment, a willingness to ask difficult questions, and the experience to recognize that the obvious answer isn't always the right one.
